Birthdays in heaven are a wonderful site
Where generations of family once again unite.
Nothing on earth can ever compare to the sounds of the angels singing 'Happy Birthday'

We gather together with our family and friends
And circle the world with love once again.
We know that you miss us and we want you to know that birthdays up here are not much different than below.

For we have cake with candles and one wish we always make that your heart will know love and will never again ache.

I have not gone far...I still see...
Those tears you shed...are for me...

I am not unhappy...I am not sad...
I just thank God...For all we had...

I did not choose...To go away...
But God told me...I couldn't stay...

He reached for me...with loving care...
Come with me child...If you dare...

Reach out your arms...to those below...
Blow them a kiss...So they will know...

Let the breeze of your kiss... Pass across their brow...
Let them know you are safe...and happy now...

Now dry your eyes...And remember me...
For where I am...Was meant to be...

To you that I have left behind...
The love we've shared...Will always bind...

If a breeze should pass...Across your brow...
Remember from where it came...And how...

Until we meet again one day...

Last night at bedtime I looked out
to say goodnight to you
and out the window through the clouds
a star came came shining through

It sparkled and it twinkled
like a precious diamond stone
it looked as if it winked at me
and I feel less alone

On earth we can see starlight
even if the star has gone
and though you are not with me
your light still does shine on

So though I cannot kiss your face
or tuck you in all tight
I'll look to heaven, see a star
and whisper your goodnight. XX

"I'll lend you for a little time
A child of Mine," He said,
"For you to love the while he lives,
And mourn for when She's dead.
It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call herback,
Take care of her for Me?
SHe'll bring hER charms to gladden you,
And should hERstay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories
As solace for your grief."

"I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from earth return.
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.
I've looked this wide world over,
In my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,
I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love,
Not think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call
And take her back again?"

I fancied that I heard them say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done,
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run.

I stood by your bed tonight, I came to have a peep
I could see that you were crying,
You found it hard to sleep
I spoke to you softly, as you brushed away a tear
"Its me, I have'nt left you, I'm well, I'm fine , I'm here.
I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour your tea.
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached out to me
I was with you at the shops today
Your arms were getting sore
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, you tend it with such care
I want to reassure you
That I'm not lying there.

I went with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your keys
I gently stood beside you I smiled and said "it's me"

You looked so very tired and sank into a chair
I tried so hard to let you know I was there
Its possible for me to be near you everyday
To say to you with certainty "I never went away"
You sat there very quitley,then smiled
I think you knew
In the stillness of that evening I was close to you

The day is over....I smile and watch you yawning and say
"Good Night, God Bless I'll see you in the morning


And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide
I'll come across to greet you and we'll stand side by side.

I have so many things to show you
There is so much for you to see
Be patient, live your journey out

"Angel"
Tear drops, slow and steady,
The pain so real and true,
God took another angel,
And that angel, dear, was you.

Angel wings, upon the clouds,
Your body softly sleeps,
Hush now little angel,
No more tears you have to weep.

Little prayers,are sent to you,
The short life you led;
Your family will never forget you,
So rest your little head.

I know God will look after you,
Now you are truly alive,
Your spirit soars beyond the moon,
Your legacy will survive.

You’re beautiful, you’re endless,
Now stretch your wings and fly,
Your loved by so many,
It will never be goodbye.

Close your pretty eyes,
No more tears,just go and rest,
Let your soul lie peacefully,
we know you did your best.
